Student to Student Exchange

We teach young people how to connect with others from vastly different contexts and tackle global issues together by incorporating peer-to-peer collaboration in each of our programs. We take pride in collaborating with universities in East Africa to help students in the U.S. and Africa connect as future leaders, advocates for change, and friends.

GLI program participants have the chance to meaningfully connect with global peers through hackathons, design sprints, weekend retreats, collaborative research, and social outings. Our peer exchanges bring valuable global exposure to African students who face significant visa and financial barriers to study abroad.
