We work closely with universities and faculty to plan and organize short-term trips that align with their academic expertise. Previous faculty-led experiences have focused on topics such as engineering, music industry, leadership, post-conflict studies, and One Health.

We also work with study abroad offices to design and implement programs. Every GLI trip is led by a GLI staff member, enabling us to lead study abroad experience outside of faculty-led courses.

GLI has facilitated dozens of customized research and capstone experiences for individual students, providing them with the support and connections needed to conduct meaningful fieldwork in Africa.
